Hawkins PC Cleaner is a high strength, low foam Acid CIP and general cleaner containing Citric acid and Phosphoric acid. It is designed for general cleaning including descaling and beer stone removal. Typical use is in Breweries, Beverage Manufacturers, and Food Facilities to remove scale, beer stone, and other soils that are generally more soluble in acid solutions. It is often used to follow a caustic cleaner and remove materials not soluble in caustics. It neutralizes and leaves the surfaces in an acid state which is less favorable to many microbes. Product may also be used manually when a less foamy acid cleaning solution is desired.
